How it supports your guidance
Free CV creation and editing
Users can organise their career details, create multiple independently editable CVs and tailor the content themselves. A free account is required; no credit card is needed for Free.
Continue after an appointment
Students and jobseekers can return to their saved work after a guidance session or workshop, update it as their experience grows and prepare another version for a new application.
Update an existing CV
Upload a Word (.docx) or text-based PDF CV. Users review and confirm extracted details before adding them to their Master Profile, then create an editable CV. Scanned or image-only PDFs are unsupported; extraction can need correction. Import does not preserve the original layout or automatically update existing CVs.
Choose a suitable design
Designs marked Free are free to use and download. Optional Pro designs and some design customisations require paid access. Choose a layout that fits the employer’s instructions and the person’s experience.
Download a PDF
Users can preview and download their CV with a Free design at no charge, with no watermark or payment required at download. Check the finished PDF before sending an application.
Optional AI tools
AI analysis uses credits when available and is separate from the free editor. Users can write and tailor their CV manually without AI. DOCX/PDF import classification does not consume AI Assistant credits; review suggested results before saving.
From guidance to a downloadable CV
-
Create a free account
Register with an email address and verify it using the confirmation email before opening the editor. No credit card is required.
-
Create or import and edit
Enter career details manually or import a supported document into the Master Profile after review. Create a CV from that profile, then edit its content for the application.
-
Download using a Free design
Choose a design marked Free, preview the CV and download the PDF. The Free-design download has no watermark and requires no payment.
Starting from LinkedIn? Users can import a data-export ZIP or saved profile HTML, with optional saved detail pages. This uses files they supply, with no live LinkedIn connection. Confirming a LinkedIn import replaces the selected Master Profile sections, so review the replacement warning first.
