LadderReady is provided by James Ross, operating personally as a registered freelancer in Bulgaria. LadderReady is the service name, not a separate legal entity. References to we, us and our mean this operator. The operator’s address, telephone, BULSTAT and VAT details are available on the About page.

About LadderReady

Using LadderReady

LadderReady provides tools for creating, managing, importing, tailoring and downloading CVs and resumes. You must use the service lawfully, provide accurate account information and have the right to use the content and files you supply.

Free CV building

The current core CV-building experience remains available without Pro. This includes creating and managing a Master Profile and independent CV snapshots, using the design options marked free, importing supported career data, and exporting CVs that use a free template. Writing and editing Cover Letters is free.

Templates marked FREE can be downloaded as PDFs without a watermark, credit card or paywall at the download step. Not every template or design option is free, AI use is limited by credits, and this does not promise that every future feature will be free.

LadderReady Pro

LadderReady Pro is currently a recurring monthly subscription at €9.99 per month. Pro adds premium CV templates, advanced design options and 30 included AI credits for each paid billing period.

A saved CV legitimately created with a premium design while you had access keeps that saved design after Pro ends. Under the current entitlement rules, you can continue editing that CV, render it and export it without a watermark. You cannot switch it to a different premium design without renewed access, and a duplicate made after Pro ends starts with the current free design defaults because the duplicate is a new CV.

AI credits

Resume Tailor and Cover Letter AI use the same AI credit balance. One completed analysis of either type costs 1 AI credit. A valid Cover Letter AI result explaining that no safe revision is possible is also a completed analysis. Reviewing, applying or dismissing a result costs no extra credit. The included Pro allowance refreshes for each successful paid billing period; unused included credits expire at the period end and do not roll over.

A new account currently receives 1 one-time promotional AI credit. Promotional credits are separate from the billing-period allowance, do not expire with a paid period and do not require Pro.

While Pro is active, the current top-up offer is 20 purchased credits for €5.99. Purchased credits do not expire and remain usable after Pro ends while the AI Assistant is enabled.

Credits are consumed in this order: current billing-period credits, promotional credits, then purchased credits. A failed eligible action restores its charge to the same source where the source is still valid.

Imports and AI output

DOCX and text-based PDF import may use AI to classify source-backed facts without consuming AI Assistant credits. You choose which proposed facts to confirm. LinkedIn imports use uploaded export or saved-page files; they are not a live LinkedIn connection. Importing a selected LinkedIn list section replaces the existing items in that selected Master Profile section.

User-requested Resume Tailor may send relevant Master Profile facts, the saved CV and a target job description to the configured AI provider. Cover Letter AI may send your saved letter, bounded content from a linked CV, and job information you supply for that letter. Suggestions are advisory and are not applied without your action. AI and import results can be incomplete or wrong, so you must review them before using or submitting a CV or Cover Letter. You remain responsible for the accuracy of what you submit.

LadderReady checks document-import values against the uploaded source and instructs the AI Assistant not to invent technologies, responsibilities, metrics, achievements, dates, employers, qualifications or seniority. Those safeguards reduce risk but are not a guarantee that every AI result is correct.

Subscriptions and cancellation

Pro renews monthly through Stripe until cancellation. Requesting cancellation schedules the subscription not to renew, and Pro access continues through the current paid period after Stripe confirms the change. Keep Pro requests reversal of a scheduled cancellation; continued renewal depends on Stripe confirming that reversal.

A renewable subscription must be cancelled and confirmed as non-renewing before you can delete your LadderReady account. Once non-renewal is confirmed, you may delete immediately, but doing so permanently removes your LadderReady data and forfeits any paid access remaining in the current period.

Your content and responsibilities

You remain responsible for the accuracy, legality and appropriateness of information and files you enter, upload, import or accept from an AI recommendation. LadderReady does not verify CV claims or guarantee employment, interviews or any particular career outcome.

Public CV examples and sample candidate details are fictional and are provided only to demonstrate templates and formatting. They are not testimonials or claims about a real candidate’s credentials or results.

Acceptable use

Do not use LadderReady to break the law, infringe another person’s rights, upload malicious material, gain unauthorised access, disrupt the service, or misuse automated systems in a way that harms LadderReady or other users.

Availability and changes

We may improve, change or discontinue parts of LadderReady, and the service may occasionally be unavailable or interrupted. We will take reasonable care in operating the service but cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free availability.

Accounts and deletion

You may delete an eligible account through Settings. We may restrict or terminate access where an account seriously or repeatedly breaches these terms, threatens the service or other users, or must be restricted for legal or security reasons.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, LadderReady is provided without guarantees about career results and we are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as LadderReady evolves. The current version and its updated date will remain available on this page.
